We assign a unique seven digit number to every teacher. This number can be used by the teacher to invite potential contributors directly to a teachers iLoveSchools.com page.

How do you verify that a school exists?
Currently we have 95,000 U.S. Public Schools in our database. When a teacher from any one of these schools registers, his or her address is verified as an authentic school and is assigned a gold star .

When a school who is not yet in our database registers, they are given an opportunity to receive the gold star authentication. The teacher is asked to print the registration completion page and submit this along with their school letterhead. The school is then verified by our staff and given the gold star designation.

What precautions should I take when meeting a donor to receive a donation?
All delivery details are for the teacher and donor to decide. We encourage for any delivered donations to be accepted at your school. If you choose to meet outside of a school to accept a donation, please remember to use the same caution you always would when meeting someone for the first time. Other suggestions include:
  • Pick a public spot and time to meet where there will be many people around.
  • If you meet outside of school, tell someone else where you are going.
  • Don't invite a teacher or donor to your home.
  • Don't follow someone to pick up donations, especially if he or she was supposed to bring them to your meeting place.
  • If you feel you are in danger, call the police; it's always better to be safe than sorry.
  • Never worry or feel embarrassed about your behavior; your safety is much more important than one person's opinion of you.
Please understand, I Love Schools, Inc. accepts no responsibility or liability for it's services nor, any results from the use of this website.
